Eyde Belasco

As a casting director, Eyde Belasco has worked on the independent feature films Sorry To Bother You, Wild Indian, I Was a Simple Man, Monos, Morris From America, Breathe In, The Words, Like Crazy, Pariah, Here, Lymelife, Don’t Let Me Drown and Half Nelson, all of which screened at the Sundance Film Festival. In television, she has cast Swimming With Sharks, Interrogation, I Love Dick and Transparent. Other films include For Worse, Sharp Corner, Skincare, I Love My Dad, Endings/Beginnings, 500 Days of Summer, Behind Enemy Lines, and Werner Herzog’s Rescue Dawn. For her work on Half Nelson and Transparent she won the Artios Award for achievement in casting. She is currently in her 30th year as the West Coast casting director for the Sundance Institute.
